The Four Day Guided Walk on the Queen Charlotte Track offers an all-inclusive package with boutique accommodation, fine dining and experienced local guides.

This all-inclusive package includes water transport to/from the track, a guided visit to the Motuara Island bird sanctuary, accommodation in boutique lodges while on the trail, meals, overnight luggage transfers and the services of local guides.

A pre-tour briefing is conducted the day prior in Picton at 5pm – this is recommended but not compulsory.
Day 1 - Ship Cove to No Road Inn, Endeavour Inlet
(Approx. 5 hours/14km)
After collection from your Picton accommodation, meet your guide and catch the water taxi to Motuara Island for a bird sanctuary tour en route to Ship Cove. Arrive late morning at Ship Cove to begin your walk. Hike around the scenic bays and coves of the Queen Charlotte Sound to No Road Inn, Endeavour Inlet. No Road Inn is a small waterfront boutique lodge known for its beautifully appointed spacious suites, warm hospitality and delicious food.
Day 2 – No Road Inn, Endeavour Inlet to Mahana Lodge, Endeavour Inlet
(Approx. 4 hours/12km)
Travel the coast around Endeavour Inlet to Mahana Lodge through regenerating native bush to the call of bellbirds, fantails and other New Zealand native birds. Mahana Lodge has a purpose-built walkers’ lodge featuring ensuite rooms and shared guest lounge. Visit the extensive organic vegetable garden, enjoy free range eggs for breakfast and soak up the beautiful views whilst enjoying a delicious home cooked meal.
Day 3 – Mahana Lodge to Raetihi Lodge
(Approx. 8 hours/22.5km)
A challenging but rewarding day on the ridgeline between Mahana Lodge and Torea Bay/ Raetihi Lodge. Those who feel like a day’s rest can take a boat ride today. We conclude our walk at Portage Bay and transfer by waiting water taxi to Raetihi Lodge. A water's edge retreat, Raetihi Lodge sets its own standards for gracious and unsurpassed hospitality. A fitting finale to your Queen Charlotte Track boutique lodge experience!
Day 4 – Raetihi Lodge/Cowshed Bay to Anakiwa
(Approx. 7 hours/20.5km)
Farewell Raetihi Lodge and transfer by water taxi back to Portage Bay. Ascend to the Queen Charlotte Track once again, enjoying stunning views. Open farmland and a grand native bush section to finish is a fitting finale. Today you return to Picton by around 4-4.30pm by water taxi from Anakiwa to compete your journey.
